CLASSES 2024-25

Classes for the 2024-25 season will begin on Aug. 26th, 2024 and run through Apr. 28th, 2025. We usually follow the Alpine District calendar for class breaks and holidays. You may choose to pay tuition by month or semester. December will be half tuition. All other months will be regular tuition. Families with 2+ dancers enrolled, from the same family, may deduct $5 from their total monthly tuition. All classes will have an in-class parent showing or participation class during the first semester, and will participate in our Spring Show in early May, 2025. The Spring Show is our final event of the dance year.

Caterpillars (ages 3-4):
A joyful class for our wiggliest littles! We explore movement and learn basic dance concepts in a fun and playful setting. We learn to follow directions and take turns. We incorporate ideas from nature, seasons, stories, etc. to inspire creativity and imagination.
Wed. 10:00-10:45 a.m. - $40/month
Butterflies (ages 4-5):
A delightful class for younger dancers to help them stretch their wings and take flight! We explore dance concepts, build upon locomotor skills and basic technique, and explore creative ideas and concepts through movement and artistic expression.
Tues. 1:00-1:45 p.m. - $40/month
Thurs. 10:00-10:45 a.m.- $40/month
Creative Dance Classes for Kindergarten-3rd Grade:
Creative dance encourages imagination and artistic expression through meaningful movement, alongside age-appropriate skill development. Our classes follow a format of warm-up, center technique (modern dance and ballet based), locomotor skills/combinations, and creative improvisation/composition. Artistic and technical development follow a natural progression with age and experience. Dancers work together, using the concepts and technique taught in class, to create original choreography. We use props, stories, visual art and more to inspire creativity and movement. Dancers are encouraged to discover their unique “dance voice,” and share it through movement!
Creative I (Kindergarten/1st Grade):
Mon. 4:10-5:00 p.m. - $40/month
Tues. 4:10-5:00 p.m. - $40/month
Creative II (2nd/3rd Grade):
Mon. 5:10-6:10 p.m. - $45/month
*Classes that do not have a minimum of 4 dancers enrolled, may be subject to cancellation.
Dancers entering 4th-6th Grade and 7th-12 Grade are recommended to our sister program, Creative Dance Works, directed by Jessica Dutson. Creative Dance Works and Wildflower Creative Dance Company classes are held at the Dance Garden studio on Wednesday afternoons. The Dance Garden and Creative Dance Works may hold combined events and recitals. REGISTRATION: Registration for the 2024-2025 season will open for current dance families on April 1st, 2024. Registration will open to the public on April 8th, 2024. To register, you may call or text Miss Jasmine at 801-896-9591 OR email at dancegardenem@gmail.com with your name, dancer’s name and age, and desired class day/time. Miss Jasmine will then send you the registration form. Registration is complete when the form is turned in and the $20 registration fee ($35/family) has been paid. Miss Jasmine will confirm by text or email when registration is complete.
